What areas do you service?
We’re based in Saint John, NB and serve surrounding areas including Quispamsis, Rothesay, and Grand Bay-Westfield. If you're just outside the city, send us a message—we may still be able to help.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
Not at all. Many of our clients provide access and return to a clean space. We just ask that you let us know how to enter and lock up safely. You're also welcome to stay—whatever makes you most comfortable.
What’s included in a basic clean vs. a deep clean?
A basic clean covers general upkeep: surfaces, floors, bathrooms, and the kitchen. A deep clean goes further—inside appliances, baseboards, wall spots, and detailed bathroom/kitchen work. We’ll help you choose the right option when booking.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes, we bring all cleaning products and equipment needed for the job. If you have a specific product you’d like us to use, just let us know in advance.
Are your products pet- and child-safe?
Yes. We use safe, professional-grade products by default. We also offer eco-friendly and fragrance-free options—just ask at the time of booking.
How do I pay?
We accept e-transfer, cash, or invoice payments. Invoices are typically sent after the job, unless otherwise arranged. Recurring clients may opt for monthly billing.
Is your team insured?
Yes, Maritime Shine is fully insured and operates with trained, experienced cleaners. Your space is always treated with care and respect.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand life happens. We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Short-notice cancellations may be subject to a small fee.
How long will the cleaning take?
It depends on the size and condition of your space. Basic cleans typically take 1–2 hours, while deep cleans or move-outs can take 3–5+ hours. We’ll give you a rough estimate during booking.
Do you clean after parties or events?
Yes! Our Event Shine package is made for that. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, or work function, we’ll handle the mess so you can relax. Light décor resets are included if requested.
